Nimra Masood , CMT, Certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist. Graduate of the Neuromuscular Massage program at NHI. California Massage Therapy council Certificate# 93097 With over 3 years of hands- on experience and recent graduation from the Neuromuscular Massage Therapy program at the National Holistic Institute, Nimra Masood offers massage sessions that balance both deep therapeutic work and full body relaxation. Her pressure is commonly described as medium, though she also provides focused deep tissue when needed. Nimra Masood incorporates a variety of techniques, including: trigger point therapy; Swedish massage; assisted stretching; cupping; and hot stones. Nimra enjoys creating sessions that calm the mind and body, while also diving into detailed, targeted work that supports long term relief. She works frequently with pain management and posture correction, blending intuition with scientific knowledge to meet each client's unique needs. Every session is personalized, and she enjoys collaborating with clients on a future care plan, and discussing how often to return, what to focus on next, how the body may feel after a session, and assigning simple, targeted self care for at home maintenance, such as specific stretches or other supportive remedies. Helping people has always been important for Nimra, and massage therapy felt like a natural calling. Even as a child she found herself massaging her parents, and that desire to care for others only grew stronger. Throughout her career she s had the opportunity to work in a wellness center; and a chiropractic office, and several boutique settings. She has worked with children and adults and with a wide range of clients experiencing diverse conditions and concerns. Her experience includes working with chronic pain, stress related tension, spinal disc injuries and people with very active or very sedentary life styles. What she loves most about this field is the one-on- one connection. She deeply appreciates the trust her clients place in her, even if it's just for an hour. there is nothing more rewarding than hearing a client say they feel instant relief when the right muscle releases; or seeing a visible change in posture after a session, or knowing that massage has provided a safe haven from a busy life. Her goal is for every client to feel cared for, supported, and able to truly relax, sometimes even describing the experience as feeling like the body was in another world. Nimra Masood practices massage therapy at Aster Acupuncture on Saturdays from 11 am-5 pm. You may book your session here.
